The present recordings reflect on the necessity for piece molds and instructions given for dealing with undercuts and allowing draft for withdrawal through designing parting lines.

L’atelier de moulage founded in 1794 as the official casting workshop of the Louvre and continues to produce moulds and casts in paster to this day.
